Why your children should avoid Davido’s video “Fans Mi”

Have you watched popstar, David Adeleke aka Davido’s latest video, ‘Fans Mi’ featuring American rapper, Meek Mill? Then you will agree that no child under the age of 18 should see it. Even though music videos have since been reduced to nothing more than scantily-dressed ladies shaking their butts, and the glorification of drunkenness, Davido’s video pushes the boundary of decency. From the first view, one’s eyes are assailed by lots of cash displayed on a table with several types of guns.   As if that is not bad enough, nearly naked girls are spotted dancing raunchily in almost every scene of the video. The story-line of the video is worse. Davido tries to seal a deal with a drug dealer to supply cocaine while the dealer hands him cases of dollars for the transaction. Davido then goes back to his mansion where he can be seen aided by the brassieres-and-panties flaunting ladies preparing the cocaine. It is not until the end of the video that we get to see that the cocaine Davido deliv…

TB Joshua reacts to gay law in USA

Various reactions have come in the wake of America formally legalising gay marriage across the entirety of its borders but one of the most unusual has sprung from a popular Nigerian cleric.

After the historic announcement, T.B. Joshua tweeted a YouTube video showing a young man allegedly receiving ‘deliverance’ from a ‘homosexual demon’.

The clip titled, ‘Deliverance From Homosexual Demon’ shows a Nigerian from Imo State who identified himself as ‘Tedus’ receiving prayer at the church of T.B. Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria.
“I made him gay; I made him love men,” the young man says after being questioned by one of Joshua’s ministers, the clip clarifying that it was an ‘evil spirit’ speaking, which was allegedly behind his homosexual tendencies. Tedus is subsequently ‘delivered’ and later shares his experiences about how the ‘devil’ of homosexuality had possessed him.

He narrated how, upon his return from a business trip in Asia, he had lodged in a hotel in Kenya where he met some male friends wh…

Pete Edochie rates Awolowo Nigeria’s best politician ever

This is the concluding part of our exclusive interview with the movie legend, Pete Edochie. The first part of it was published last week. Was featuring in ‘Things Fall Apart’ the first production that brought you to limelight? Yes, it was the production that projected me. I had played other little roles on television such as   Segment of Shakespeare, Every Man, Realm of Violence, Resurrection and others. But Things Fall Apart was a full blown production. Because of its popularity as a set book, it was welcomed by a lot of people. They were not disappointed with the interpretation of the role. I feel very happy about it. For many years now that production has not been shown on television? It is the property of NTA and I think (I am not speaking with authority here) that some people bought the rights and decided to package and sell the production. A lot of people have the complete set of thirteen episodes. All the same, it is the property of NTA, and if the management of the television ho…

Karrueche talks staying single, ruthless side chicks & what it would take to date her!

Ellemagazine'sJulie Schott and Danielle Prescod had a light-hearted interview with Karrueche Tran where they asked her not-so serious questions like who slides in her DMs, what does she look for in a man, what life is like post break-up from Chris Brown. Read Below...
Danielle: Does living such a public life ever bother you? Do you ever want to turn it off?
Karrueche: Yeah, because I never have privacy. I walk out the house and there's paparazzi. There's certain things I can't do: if I wanted to date, or go on a date. It's like I have to worry about people taking pictures and it's crazy. Even yesterday, when I was in Miami, I took a picture with some soccer player and now it's everywhere on the Internet that we're dating! It's "Her New Man."
Danielle: Do you ever want to say, "Hey, that's not true; leave me alone!"
Karrueche: Sometimes I'm like, "That's false. I'm single." Why am I even feeding into it if I …
