Tyga- I don't owe rent, I'm buyin' the darn house!!!

Image
Tyga says the eviction lawsuit his landlord filed against him is false, because he's NOT a renter ... he's a homebuyer. According to Tyga, he made a down payment of $200,000 on the Calabasas mansion a full year ago and the landlord told him he could move in during escrow, without paying any rent. Tyga says the escrow was supposed to close many months ago, but didn't because the seller didn't provide Tyga's bank with info that would allow the loan to be processed. However, the landlord says Tyga is lying and is a squatter. His lawyer, Lee Hutton, tells TMZ, "We evidently live in a world where a man's word is no longer his bond."

Chinese woman gets electrocuted while entering PIN code at an ATM

Image
A Chinese woman was in for a real shock last weekend when she tried to get money out of an ATM. The unsuspecting 23-year-old, known as Xiao Liu, had been entering her PIN code into a cash machine in Xi'an, north west China, when a sudden surge of electricity left her needing hospital treatment. The electric shock sent 200 volts around the woman's body.  Humans can only handle 36 volts safely.   The electricity passed from Liu's hand to her body, leaving her right arm numb and sore. Liu was forced to the floor by the impact of the shock at the China Everbright Bank. She soon realised that she was bleeding and that the fingernails on her right thumb and ring finger were broken. Her card had also been swallowed by the machine. After recovering for a few minutes, the frightened woman then made her way to a local hospital for treatment. A doctor wrapped up the injuries and has reassured Liu that the fingernails would grow back on their own. However, the i

Members of the National Association of Delta State Students, NADESSTU, have threatened to shut down the capital city of Asaba, if their 2013/2014 bursary was not paid in the next two weeks. NADESSTU in a communiqué at the end of its emergency meeting at Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, said that the students were no longer happy with the development, adding that any further delay in the payment of the bursary may lead to students’ unrest in the state. The communiqué by Shaka Emomine, National President and others, decried that the student community was losing faith in the national leadership of the association over the issue. The communiqué, read: “The national leadership of the association will no longer stand any chance of losing or jeopardizing the trust bestowed on us by our fellow students whom we were elected to serve and protect their interest. “Therefore, the Delta State Government is hereby issued a two-week ultimatum to come up with the payment of the Delta State Studen

British sperm donor fathers 10 children for strangers in 4 months

Kenzie Kilpatrick's eighth child was born last week. He is thrilled, showing a picture on his phone of the girl - as yet unnamed - who arrived on Tuesday, July 21, at 10.44am, weighing 6lb 15oz. He reads out a message from the mother, which says: 'I'm so happy to tell you that our little miracle baby girl is here. All thanks to you. She is beautiful.'.     The 26-year-old looks as proud as any new dad, but Kenzie will play no further part in this child's life.   Nor will he be a parent to his 7 other biological children - all born, one after the other, in the past 3 months or the 2 who are due any time now.   So, 3 daughters, 5 sons, including twin boys, and counting. Half-siblings who share their father's DNA, but not each other's lives or indeed Kenzie's continued presence as they grow up Kenzie, a single gay man, this week emerged as one of Britain's most prolific freelance sperm donors. I’m not expecting ministerial appointment from Buhari- Tunde Bakare

Image
In an interview with Sahara TV yesterday, the General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, said he is not expecting to be appointed a minister in President Buhari's cabinet. "As far as I am concerned, I am not expecting to be named a minister. If I am offered an appointment, when I get to that bridge I will cross it. I am already a minister of the gospel. Ministry is my calling and my life. The word minister means servant. When you expect nothing, you cannot be disappointed. I keep on doing what I am doing, to be a solid supporter of the Buhari movement and what he stands for in public life. I have no regret on what I did in 2011. If an opportunity presents itself, I will do it again. I am not seeking anything. “Let’s not count chickens before they are hatched. The bible says the expectation of the righteous will not be cut off. That is when the expectation of the righteous is in tandem with God’s expectation. If you are expecting from God, the flesh

Read what Alex Badeh said about the Nigerian military in January

Image
At his handing over ceremony yesterday, former Chief of Defense staff Alex Badeh said he led a military that lacked equipment. Now read what he said about the military when he was still in office in January 2015. He said this in an interview with Nigerian Defence Magazine  here “The Nigerian military is very well taken care off. We live in houses we don’t pay accommodation for. We have buses that bring troops to work every day and take them back home. We don’t pay for light; we don’t pay for water. Our salaries are good compared with what is paid in the civil place. If someone with school certificate joins the army, by the time he is five years in the service, his salary has doubled that of a graduate. Why do you think Nigeria is doing that for us? Nigeria is doing that for us because we have vowed that we will defend our nation if need be with our blood. So for a soldier to come up and say ‘I’m not well equipped’ yet you have a riffle; what do you want? You want APC, you want tan
